Profitec enables us to design, build, install, and commission critical electrical and control systems as a seamless part of wider MEICA projects.
Power, control, and automation are core to how we deliver resilient, high-performing infrastructure. Through Profitec, our specialist in-house division, we provide full manufacturing of MCC panels, ICA systems, and advanced control technologies, all delivered alongside expert system integration services.
Profitec enables us to design, build, install, and commission critical electrical and control systems as a seamless part of wider MEICA projects. From manufacturing bespoke control panels to integrating new automation platforms with existing assets, we offer a complete, joined-up solution.
Profitec, our in-house specialist, manufactures high-quality Motor Control Centres (MCCs) at its dedicated facility in Cookstown. Built to Form 2 and Form 4 standards, these panels are designed for reliability, compliance, and seamless project delivery. By keeping MCC production in-house, we maintain full quality control, reduce lead times, and ensure smooth coordination with project teams—supporting efficient, cost-effective delivery for water and wastewater infrastructure across the UK and Ireland.
Our in-house ICA capability enables the precise control and monitoring of complex water and wastewater processes. From field instrumentation to control logic and telemetry-ready setups, we design and deliver tailored solutions that ensure accuracy, responsiveness, and operational insight. With a deep understanding of water sector standards and regulatory needs, our teams provide reliable, cost-effective instrumentation and control systems, enhancing performance, safety, and compliance across treatment works and pumping stations.
System integration is one of Profitec’s defining strengths. Unlike many contractors who install standalone control panels, we work holistically, designing and delivering fully integrated systems that align seamlessly with new and existing mechanical and electrical infrastructure. Our integrated model ensures that every panel, control system, and telemetry feed is built to work properly within the wider site environment , first time.
We design, assemble, and factory test modular booster sets, dosing plants, and control kiosks at our dedicated off site facility, reducing time, cost, and risk on site. Each unit is built to client specifications and delivered as a plug and play solution, ready for rapid installation and commissioning. Off site fabrication enhances quality control, minimises environmental impact, and improves safety by reducing on site construction activities, ideal for time sensitive projects or sites with access, space, or programme constraints.
