Expert non-infrastructure civils for treatment plants and pumping stations, enabling safe, efficient project delivery.
Civil engineering is a core part of our non-infrastructure offering, supporting the full construction sequence within treatment works, pumping stations, and operational water sites.
We deliver essential structural and access-related works as part of an integrated delivery model, planned and executed to align seamlessly with MEICA activity. Our approach is practical, safety focused, and tailored to the demands of live site environments, ensuring reliable, efficient support for every phase of project delivery.
Groundworks and excavation
We prepare sites for construction with careful excavation, levelling, and enabling works, ensuring safe and stable conditions for follow on activities.
Concrete foundations and slabs
We deliver reinforced concrete works for equipment bases, kiosks, tanks, and structural slabs, designed to meet site loading and environmental requirements.
Drainage and ducting installations
We install underground services including water drainage, electrical ducting, and pipework routes, coordinated with site utilities and mechanical layouts.
Retaining walls and access roads
We construct permanent access roads, hardstanding areas, and structural retaining features to ensure safe site access and clear movement routes.
Structural steelwork and platforms
We supply and install steel access structures including stairs, walkways, and equipment platforms, compliant with all relevant standards and operational safety needs.
Our civil engineers collaborate closely with MEICA and commissioning teams to ensure seamless coordination across every phase of delivery. This integrated approach minimises delays, avoids rework, and ensures that key interfaces—from ducting and plinths to access and control structures, are built accurately and efficiently.
Where projects extend beyond the boundary, we also have the capability to integrate with Browne’s infrastructure teams, enabling joined-up delivery across both non-infrastructure and below-ground works. This creates a single, aligned programme that simplifies coordination, improves quality, and supports better outcomes across the full project scope.
