Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)
We believe everyone has the right to a safe, respectful working environment. Health, safety and wellbeing (HSW) is more than a compliance exercise — it is an essential part of how we plan, communicate, and lead.
Our safety culture encourages real-time engagement and active responsibility. Through director-led site walks, open reporting via our “See It, Sort It, Report It” initiative, and clear behavioural expectations, we aim to prevent risk before it develops.
We also apply live monitoring tools such as SiteEye and digital permitting to streamline processes and increase visibility on site. Our HSW systems are ISO 45001 certified, and we continually refine them using lessons learned and predictive risk analytics.
We take a structured, transparent approach to programme governance. Led by our dedicated PMO and estimating team, we ensure each project is aligned with client requirements and commercial parameters from the outset.
Project scoping is supported by early design engagement, accurate digital estimating tools, and risk modelling. This allows us to forecast timelines and resources with confidence, giving project managers and clients clarity from the start.
As delivery progresses, we maintain control through regular reporting, internal assurance reviews, and collaborative decision-making. Our engineering process follows a defined pathway, from options development and feasibility through to design validation and approval, with clear accountability at each stage.
Sustainability is built into our business model. We view ESG not as a standalone target, but as a thread that runs through design, delivery, and the long-term use of infrastructure.
We are committed to achieving Net Zero Scope 1 emissions by 2030, and we are already making progress through off-site manufacture, efficient logistics, and low-carbon material choices. In parallel, we are working to divert more than 98% of waste from landfill by 2025, with strong adoption of circular economy principles.
Beyond carbon, we focus on biodiversity, community engagement, and social value. Whether it is integrating nature-positive design or supporting local employment, we aim to deliver positive impact both during and after project completion.
Enisca operates integrated health and safety, environmental and quality (SHEQ) assurance systems, based upon a cycle of continuous improvement, that have external third party certification to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
